Yes, I finally did.

I mailed all but TWO of the commissions. One because I have no address, and one because it is new, and I haven't drawn it yet. So there you go, if you're waiting on a commission from me still, chances are it's on a truck, RIGHT NOW. Commissions are officially closed, but I'm always checking my email, and if I found a message from YOU in there, detailing a request, I'm sure I would respond in the positive and tell you where to send the appropriate monies.

In other news, I have some awesome photos from new york that I keep meaning to post, but I haven't. Maybe I'll get around to it, who knows?!

Check back here in the next few weeks for updates with drawings, and probably some info about gallery shows coming up and comics I'm working on and the like.

AAAAAANNND because I hate posts without pictures:

You have been waiting so patiently.

I am showing you my first batch of commissions! They have been mailed out, and I think most have been received. If I am spoiling the surprise I apologize (but only a little).

I somehow forgot to scan this. OR as I suspect is more likely I saved it somewhere stupid and will never find the file again. Another one is also missing, but I don't even have a stupid photobooth picture of it. It involved a wonderful lady riding a cat. You would have loved it.

This one probably hasn't arrived yet, and I am worried that this is not what he wanted at all and yet at the same time, whatever. When you ask me for Cruella and puppies, this is what you get. Moral of the day: Be specific.

Taking care of business. Naked business. The naked kind.

Hey there my lovely little sheepies! I am being a good girl and getting shit done. And so what if I am getting it done naked. That is my prerogative. Stop looking in my window.

First off, I made this little bitty for Hey Oscar Wilde it's Clobberin' Time. Steven is a sweet guy who took Phil and I up on our commission offer, and ended up with this:

For those lucky few of you who HAVE given me money for a commission and are like, hey, where's my art you whore? Well I am here to tell you that almost ALL of them are done and sitting in envelopes in my front hall, waiting for me to get my ass to the post office. I'M SORRY it's taken me so long! When I started taking them on, I had nothing better to do, and about 3 days later I was inundated with so many not better but more pressing things, so it's taking me much longer than expected. You should know that you paid my rent though, so keep your pants on, and keep checking your mail boxes.

On the comics front, I'm reprinting pretty much everything for TCAF. I'm all comicked out. This is the new cover for Pig Boy #1.

I suppose a lil' sneak peek at Pig Boy #2 (debuting at TCAF) is in order:

Momma needs to pay off those loan sharks.

Hello there my lovely followers, how've you been? That's pretty much a rhetorical question there, but you can answer if you really want to.

Well as nice as all that is, I'm not really here for small talk. I have come to tell you that as of the moment your beady little eyes read this, I AM OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS!! YAY!! OMG!!

But wait. Guys. Wait. It gets so much better: PHIL McANDREW and I are teaming up on this venture! GO TEAM GO!

So here's those pesky rules:

For $20 usd plus $4 shipping, you get a 5x7 black and white drawing, subject matter of your choosing! The only thing I will not draw is your anime character engaging in Harry Potter slash fan-fic action (things happened the way they were supposed to, leave it alone). Pretty much anything else is fair game.\

WAIT WAIT WAIT, Phil makes a good point, I will not draw the entire cast of Lost. Do you even know how many people that is?! If you want something crazy like that, shoot me an email, we'll work that shit out.

Okay that seems like it, OH WAIT YEAH, IT GETS EVEN BETTER.

For $30 usd plus $4 shipping, you can have TWO drawings (count 'em, 2) one from me, and one from the magnificent Phil McAndrew! Guys, that's a wicked deal, you should totes mcgotes take us up on it.

Here are some examples of the style of drawing you can expect from me:

Alright, let's get the ball rolling! I have provided a convenient paypal button below for your every commissioning need! Use the drop down menu to tell me if you want one or two drawings, and use the little typey field to let me know what you want your drawing OF. If for some weird reason what you want is too long to put in that little box, shoot me an email at britt@brittwilson.com, and give me the low-down.

EDIT-comissions closed for now, thanks a heap folks!
