Britt Wilson's Greatest Book on Earth!

It has been a long time coming, folks (still is, I am not sleeping much) but at least there is a cover. And you can even look at it, if you choose to! This caused me excruciating neck pain and a bad case of the grumps for many days, so please politely applaud and then go on with your day.

If you see me on the street at any point before the end of February, please slap me in the face, take me back home, and make sure the shackles on my desk are properly...shackled.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. If you would like to learn some more deets about this book, like how many pages, and is it colour or black and white? Then you can click HERE and go look at it on the Conundrum Press website.

▒░░ Smiling Antimatter ░░▒

Come by the Steamwhisle, all you local stalkers/beer enthusiasts and buy a painting. So far I've only finished this one, and I've been working on it for quite a while, and we hang tomorrow... BUT THE NIGHT IS YOUNG.

What's your angle?

...bad joke, I know. Sorry.

Somehow, even with Panties' unwanted help, I managed to end up with this:

This guy is shipping off to a very nice person from the internet, who answered my cry for a laminator.

I am SO tempted to cover it in plastic.

The Empress

I was asked to do a painting for the Bear and the Bird gallery, for their Superpunch Tarot card thingiemaboober. So there it is, from sketch to final! Now I gotta run and pack it up to mail it out later today! While I'm gone you should check out the flyer, and anyone living in sunny florida should go SEE the show, and you know...buy shit.

Sewer Shark, or, They Can Smell Boredom

A little simpler, but I am running out of time, and my wrist needs a break. This is the last one, no time for more, now I'm in the business of framing and prepping for the show. There is a personal element to this piece: when I was a wee lass my dad told me that sharks lived in the sewer. Now this really didn't bother me, but for some reason my retarded infant mind decided that sharks eat rocks, and so I would sit at the foot of our driveway throwing pebbles into the storm drain, thinking I was feeding them. Always hoping for a glimpse.

Somewhere in my house there is photo evidence, my friends, and it is hopefully staying buried.

My hand is all crampy. Moving on to #3, hoping to make a large dent in it tonight.

Monsterbation.

Damnit mixed media on wood.

Just finished this puppy this morning and mailed it out to JFISH! Lets all clasp our hands and pray to the Postal Gods that it arrives safely and on time! It will be stuck on the wall at The Pony Club Gallery if, you know, you feel like looking at it, or better yet, BUYING it.

Kickass Annie

For Anne Koyama, of Koyama Press, the hippest, nicest, most determined lady I ever did meet.

This was a labour intensive project. Planning out a tileable pattern and then painting it by hand. There are some spots that ended up overlapping by stupid mistakes made on my part, but I'm pretty pleased with the result. It's been too long since I painted, this whole process was speckled with swearing and cursing and near tears hysteria. Apparently it's not like riding a bicycle.

AWOL

My submission for the Square Foot show at the AWOL Gallery. Wish I hadn't left it to the last minute and done more than one.

OH WELL.
