This is a gift for a friend. I spent the last forever fighting with Vicki's scanner, and this is still so awful, BUT it is less awful than some of the previous scans. Anyone recommend a good cheap scanner? One day when I am not living hand to mouth, I will kick this one to the curb.
Also this is tiny, like smaller than a business card and going in a fancy tiny black frame.
This piece is so cool.
ReplyDeleteI know the "hand to mouth-living" as well:D
my constant and trusty companion is the "Epson Stylus DX 4250" scanner and printer.
I like him! He does good scans!
(But I hate scanning handmade illustrations. What about reproducing them via cam?
I usually champion Epson as well... but I actually went and bought an HP Scanjet 4370 off craigslist for like 50 bucks! The only reason I got that specific scanner is because they have them at work and it's a great scanner.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you are still needing a scanner... Anyway, I use an All-in-one, a Cannon MP260. I thought all-in-one scanners would be horrible, but, surprise: that's the best scanner I ever had! o_O
ReplyDeleteOh, and you don't need to fight with it. Very simple to use.
Aw... <3 <3
