Day 26, 27: Bitty Titties.

Just little sneaky peaks. Now that I have you hooked (who am I kidding?) I'm not gonna show you the rest until it's all finished. Just these horribly tantalizing bits, like nipple in an 18A rated film.

Day 25

The first two finished pages, I think.

Day 24: Pig Boy the Comic.

I'm taking what I animated (which was originally a full colour comic for an anthology that never happened) and redrawing it in black and glorious white for a mini-comic that I'm working on. The shitty ass grey that I threw on in photoshop is just so you know what's going on, I'll be adding an inkwash to it later.

Day 23.

I hung out with Kate Beaton in a bar. It was awesome. She drew me some pictures, because that's what she does. I added the word bubbles here, from the other side of the table, so they are upside down. It is a secret language we invented for our own personal use. So that we can pass secret notes.



My (truer) version of events:

I drew this like 5 times before I cold get it right on my lunch at work today. Today was not a drawing day.

Day 22

I know reposting is cheating, I have some other drawings on the go, I just haven't finished anything yet.

Day 21: Bus stop COMIC!

I FINISHED my comic, the one I've been slaving over for weeks! The whole thing is up over at my LIVEJOURNAL, it's just too damn long to post here. It will be for sale in mini-form at FanExpo, but if you don't live in Toronto, I might sell a few copies online before the expo, or for sure the leftovers after.

I was watching Burn After Reading and got inspired by this dude's face. I think I might colour it for shits and giggles.

Day 20: Uterus Parade

I'm really bad at this drawing a day stuff. Not because I'm not drawing (lately anyway) but because what I'm drawing I'm not ready to show! Bear with me, once I'm finished this most recent project I will try harder.

Vicki Nerino and I are going to be selling mini comics and other junk at FanExpo under this moniker. You should come, don't worry, you have until August to book the day off work and somehow get yourself to Toronto.

Day 18,19

The bottom one is a comic I'm working on. It's pretty much monopolizing all my free time. It's not elaborate or anything, I just suck at doing more than one thing at once.

Day 17

I know I know, get over it Britt, TCAF is OVER. okay, I promise I will. Right after this revealing drawing about how talking to new people affects the colour of my face.

I've been listening to Neko Case a lot recently.

Day 14!! (two weeks!)

Well, a pretty pathetic record, only two weeks in, but fingers crossed I'll get the hang of this.

These Cat Girls are inspired by Harvey James' originals (the tiny ones in the corner) he's having some sort of cat-girl-fest over at his blog. You should check it out, I just whipped these up on my break at work, but some of the other entries are AMAZIN.

Day 13 (yesterday)

I drew some ugly people, in fact, I searched "ugly people" on google image search for some reference and I found these guys. I have some plans for them, I think I might work them into my batman themed thing I had going on and then abandoned without meaning to....

I gotta run off to work now, but I'll have another drawing to post tonight and then I'll be all caught up with my scanning!
